Building oral language and critical-thinking skills: Using questions boxes in the ESO1 literacy class

For a change on the speaking practice our students reached into the boxes, picked a colour coded prompt card, then got talking in pairs with no pressure because there were no right or wrong answers. They had fun! 

One of the boxes I used is teacher-made (I made it and found it useful for several activities in the literacy class) and the other one is a good teaching resource I found online a few years ago.
