SKILLS TASK: Our students' reflections on their own learning experience

Today we finished the presentations of the final project about tumours in Science 3. I asked my students to reflect upon the whole process of researching and learning so us to enhance their critical thinking. Their opinions have been very useful since they have helped me understand the strength and weaknesses of this project and what is more, they have made my students more aware of the value of the learning experience because they had to think about the whole process, including the grouping and the organisation of work. This project has been useful in the sense that it has facilitated our students to make real meaning out of the process of research they have been engaged in during the development of this skills task on tumours. I have the feeling they have learnt a lesson, but a rewarding and fulfilling one!
