Laura Fernández, our, Literacy teacher at ESO1, group C, worked with her students on a Saint Valentine's Day activity for our beautiful Library Project, which joins together cinema and literature this academic year 20-21.
First, the students watched a clip from the movie "Pretty Woman", a romantic story that was analysed from a critical point of view (being the female protagonist a prostitute) thus in this way the students were developing CRITICAL THINKING and discussion on the topic was encouraged.
Then, it was the turn of "Titanic". The students were handed out a worksheet" with several comprehension questions.
You can enjoy a video on the activity below, if you scroll all the way down, or HERE, if you wish.
They all had a great time because, you know: TIME FLIES WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE!
