Soap making outdoors in Science (ESO2)

Last Friday we could enjoy an outdoors lesson full of fresh air and the sunshine.

In Science in ESO2, we enjoyed the process of making soap while learning loads. Cold process soap is made by combining oils and sodium hydroxide lye, which causes a chemical reaction called saponification. In the process, you get to choose the oils and any other ingredients. It's a great way for students to practice science and master the art of soap-making at the same time.

Thanks to Ana Trinidad for organising everything for all of us to learn and enjoy!
