Photography Exhibition to observe the Day for Remembrance and for the Prevention of Crimes against Humanity
On May 5, 1945, the Allied troops liberated the Mauthausen concentration camp. For this reason, the Council of Ministers in April 26, 2019 (BOE April 30, 2019), established May 5 as a Day of Remembrance, of tribute to all the Spanish people who were deported to and then deceased in Mauthausen and in other Nazi Concentration Camps, also to all the victims of Nazism in Spain. It is observed on that day every year since and named as "Day for Holocaust Remembrance and for the Prevention of Crimes against Humanity (Día Oficial de la Memoria del Holocausto y la Prevención de los Crímenes contra la Humanidad).
You can watch and learn with this Photography Exhibition until next May 14.
