PROJECT-BASED WORK: LONDON
As an end-of-the-year project, in Literacy, we started to work on the topic of London. As an icebreaker I got the students fully immersed on a short guided visualisation. The effect of this London visualisation (mindfulness-based and with its foundations on Teacher Alberto Reviriego's Project "Mente Joven") was positive, comforting and fulfilling to the classroom atmosphere.
I guided through the class incorporating a combination of breathing and guided visualisation techniques. This was the result.
After that the students were ready to share their "trips" with the rest of the class.
