The Enlightenment. Language Skills in History #ESO4

 The Enlightenment

Our ESO4 students have applied different language skills in History. Using the Enlightenment as a pretext, they have first inferred and then discussed the meaning of certain quotes by Voltaire. They have used monolingual dictionaries and discussion as a main resource to make connections to the theoretical framework, provided in previous lessons by their History teacher, Ms. Mónica Lanero. Once they had understood the quotes and had made the connections to the theory (using their coursebook for research and digging deeper), they had to present their quote and their findings to the rest of the class so they activated their presentation skills too.
