Thank you for all your hard work and motivation to learn. Happy New Year 2022!

To wrap up the year we would like to thank and acknowledge the amazing students and teachers in our team. Even through the most difficult of times you have continued to work hard and to make sure that our new normal at school does not affect our motivation and participation in the (teaching and) learning process. The support from the families has been paramount. The British Council Programme would not be what it is today without all of your valuable support!

All the best for the coming year 2022,

The British Council Team

Christmas around Europe presentations

Objectives for the activity

1. To discover traditions vary from place to place
2. To explore English sources to learn about cultural identity
3. To use the Research Method
4. To share what’s been learnt

The students have watched a documentary about Christmas in Europe available in English in YouTube, by Rick Steves, an acclaimed British host.

After that, in pairs, each of one has chosen a country of the ones portrayed in the documentary and each pair has deepen into their traditions and shared their discoveries through a presentation in class.

Mr. Fernando Alcalá
