Sociolinguistics in the Literacy Lesson: Cultural Differences in Manners and Etiquette
Cultural etiquette is the code of conduct that varies from society to society, from country to country, from culture to culture. Knowing about a cultural etiquette contributes to respect, to avoid culture shock and to enforce what we call good manners in the place we're visiting. This was the main topic of our language assistant, Jalen in this lesson.
