Gymkhana in the Old Town of Cáceres #OUTOFSCHOOLACTIVITIES

Gymkhana Activity

The purpose of this activity was to learn about the Old Town of Cáceres while having fun. 

It was a scavenger hunt:  student’s teams competing to find their way through clues and images along three routes with the help of a map, the winning team being the one  able to finish the three routes in less time.  The students were asked questions on buildings and events related to the past of our city, as well as to take pictures of emblematic buildings o and statues in the Old Town.  Through the routes they learnt about the peoples who left their trace on the city: the Romans, the Muslims, the Jews and the Christians. 

We enjoyed it so much!
