This time in "Language Skills in Social Science", our students became interpreters. Interpreting is a language skill that a student can acquire consciously or unconsciously through an intense process of learning and experiencing in the classroom.
This activity was designed as an introduction to the topic of Migrations in the Past which have shaped the world we live in today.
In this pace-changing introductory activity our students had to make quick decisions on what to omit and what to convey only by hearing without looking at the speaker-teacher. The experience, though challenging, was great and they all did an excellent job!
