The ESO1 students had the exciting opportunity to take a field trip to the Archeological Museum of Cáceres last week in recognition of #InternationalMuseumsDay. At the museum, the students participated in a workshop where they learned how to write in various ancient languages. The kids practiced what they had learned by spelling their names in ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and in Tartessian (a Paleo-Hispanic language from the south of the Iberian Peninsula). Additionally, they practiced writing on stones just like our ancestors did before.
Below is a video capturing the students' time at the Museum and showing off their work while there.
