How to structure a Compare and Contrast Essay 

PRE-WRITING

We will use a Venn Diagram to organise the information from the charts.

This is a bridging activity, using the two charts which were already distributed in the previous lesson: Athens and Sparta. 

Then, we will use the Hamburger-like structure for the format of our essay:

- Introduction: Upper Bum

- Body: the ingredients (two layers/two paragraphs)

- Conclusion: bottom bum

A Venn Diagram will help us find the best possible options for our type of essay.
