SESSION ONE
After the specialist teacher, Susana González, had offered the students in previous sessions the theoretical framework of the topic in question, in this lesson we have used role-play to understand the meaning of the two concepts in this very first session.
In the next session we will delve into the learning situation by continuing acting it out; in addition, we will revise what we already learnt last year about the format of a compare and contrast essay.
The final product will be a compare and contrast essay entitled: Democracy vs. Dictatorship. During the different phases of the writing process, our students will be using a Venn Diagram that will help them organise all the infornation.
