When learning about the topic of unit 1 (topic-based approach), we learnt through an interesting video (listening skills) that we feel happier when we express gratitude. In fact, it is a scientifically proven reality that the key of happiness is showing gratitude.so we decided to experiment with this fact and all of us (students and co-teachers) wrote random letters of gratitude.
These letters are now sealed and kept safe until the end of the unit, when we will all open our letters and we will feel a bite of that so called happiness because... what is happiness if not a wee chunk of gratefulness and wellbeing, that sense of feeling confortable in our own skin?
In order to start feeling more grateful, and appreciative of the good things in our life we've learnt we should:
Notice good things, look for them, appreciate them.
Savour, absorb, and really pay attention to those good things.
Express your gratitude to ourselves, write it down, or thank someone else, just as we did in class.
Well keep you posted on the outcomes of this exciting experiment!
