Science CO-TEACHING PROJECT
This co-teaching project, planned to be developed in 4-5 sessions, is aimed at:
- Raising awareness on mental health issues, in particular on Eating disorders.
- Developing a healthy self image.
- Developing a healthy self-esteem.
- Making the students more knowledgeable of the issue and how to get help.
- The students will contribute to break the stigma.
- Busting the myths associated with eating disorders.
- Developing critical Thinking and questioning society standards.
- Promoting health education.
- Developing healthy eating habits, by the specialist, Dr. Victoria Merino by means of the so called The Healthy Plate.
- As the project unfolds and the students work on it with their co-teachers, they will be developing: speaking skills, reading skills, mediation skills, listening skills, writing skills, as well as other soft skills.
