The Story of Stuff: Wonder and Ponder #SDGs Sustainable development Goals in the classroom

The world demands an ambitious global change to become aware of all the stuff we use, we own, that we do not need. Our students know that and they have elaborated a series of podcasts inspired by the short film "Man" by Steve Cutts, and the documentary "the story of Stuff", by the Story of Stuff Project Foundation, which started with that animated film that explored where our Stuff comes from, and where it goes when we throw it away. This month marks 15 years since the original Story of Stuff was released on YouTube and that, together with the Stuffy Christmas season coming on its way so soon, also factual: my own commitment to contribute to the SDGs and hope for the Agenda 2030, plus the fact that we are working on the topic "You and your Environment" in our Literacy Lessons,... all those factors made me realise that my students (and myself) had to wonder and ponder about our own stuff! We own too much.

Don't miss out Alejandro García Garrido's reflections on the topic!

Héctor Álvarez is brilliant at summarising "the whole stuff".
