Prague and Kafka's spirit: a Google Earth adventure #mediation #erasmus+ #literacyapproach

"At times it is safer to be chained than being free", Although this is one of Kafka's remarks and as some students, among them, (our student Paula Bote and several of our former students) have luckily been chosen to travel to the Czech Republic, we, as teachers wanted Paula to feel free as a bird in this country!

Its capital city, Prague, spreads a kind of magic in every corner... being literature and music easily recognised to and fro. In this task Paula wandered around this unique city, virtually, following the spirit of its one of the most well-known characters: Kafka.

Using Google Earth our student created two different projects designed by their "Language and Literacy" teachers, Marina Hurtado and Fausto Ferrero:

1. The first one as a "virtual tour with the most famous landmarks of Prague". PRAGUE VIRTUAL TOUR HERE.

2. A second one focused on "Kafka's legacy", following his trail around the city", KAFKA'S LEGACY here.

Both are a must-see for all students visiting Prague soon and for everyone in general who is into Prague and the Czech Republic.
