Title: The World of Work, a Literacy Didactic Unit for the fourth grade of Secondary Education.
Unit Overview: "The World of Work" is a literacy-focused didactic unit designed to help our secondary students develop essential reading, writing, and critical thinking skills while exploring various aspects of the professional world. Throughout this unit, our students will engage in reading activities, discussions, and writing assignments in Google classroom that focus around careers, workplace skills, and career exploration. By the end of the unit, our students should have a better understanding of the world of work, different career options, and the skills needed for success in the professional world. This unit will be implemented by Mr. Luis Baone, student of the Master's Degree on Secondary Education and teacher-in-training.

Literacy: The World of Work
Writing and Reading skills
The class started out with a warming-up class discussion on professions, asking students about their future aspirations and what they thought it was what makes a successful career.
They were taught the process of applying for a job and creating a CV.
A role play activity was also designed for the sessions. The idea was to introduce the concept of job interviews and their significance. The proposed role-plays were mock interviews in pairs or small groups, assigning students roles as interviewers and interviewees.
ENTERPRENEURSHIP SESSION: PRESENTATIONS
Teaching entrepreneurship at the secondary school level can provide valuable skills development for students.
The students had to design a project: their own company and sell their ow products. They even created Instagram accounts for promotion of their products!
