Preparing The SO-LONG-AWAITED End-of-the-year SCHOOL TRIP in the physics lesson #co-teaching Language Skills in Science
A trip to a theme park? That sounds like a fun and educational trip! Let's prepare it in the Language Skills in Science lesson with Victoria and Marina.
Understanding the forces and motion involved in a roller coaster can provide a great hands-on experience for learning about physics.
In this co-teaching lesson our students learnt about key concepts to explore and discuss during their trip to Madrid, such as gravity, inertia, acceleration and deceleration, centripetal force, friction, etc.
During their trip, our students will observe with their teacher Victoria the different types of roller coasters available and she will encourage them to identify and analyse the physics concepts at play.
We're pretty sure they will take note of the various forces and motions experienced during the rides and discuss them afterwards. Hahaha
In sum, a visit to a theme park can be an entertaining way to enhance the learning experience.
Enjoy your well-deserved trip, Class! You've worked so hard this year! Make the most of it and have a thrilling physics lesson in the rides with our amazing teachers Victoria and Raquel!
