Announcement of the Winners (and finalists + Honorary Mentions) for the School Halloween Writing Contest

 

 

 
 
We are excited to announce the winners of the School Halloween Writing Contest held at our school library! The talent and creativity showcased by all participants were truly impressive, making it a challenge for our judges to decide. 
 
If your story has been chosen, you MUST be present next Friday (Friday, 15.11.24), during the break in the School Library for the Awards Ceremony.
 
After much consideration, here are the results:


Year 1

Category: Best Story
 
...and the Winner is: Sara Benítez Merino – for her thrilling and imaginative tale "The Doll".

Finalists:
  1. Alba López Fernández, for her unique "Boo".
  2. Mario Duque López, for his intriguing "Zombie Apocalypsis".

Honorary Mention:  Daniel Ramos, for his amazing "The Infinite Stairs".


Category: Best Design and Creativity
 
The Winner is...Luna Martín González, for her visually captivating story "The Pink Blood".

Finalists:
1st. Paula García-Ontiveros Gijón, for her "The Invisible Monster"
2nd. Adriana Martín Corchero, for "A Special Family"

Honorary Mention: Irene García-Ontiveros  for "The Apartment 326".


Category: Best Story

...and the Winner is:
 Adriana Barra Sánchez – for her spooky tale of great imagination "Mind"

Finalists:
  1. Elisa Durán, for "The Foray into the Forest"
  2. Dylan Macías, for "R.I.P. Dylan Macías".

Honorary Mention: Lydia Teomiro for her incredible story "The Trunk".


Category: Best Design and Creativity

The Winner is...: Jael Ortega– for her visually terrifying story "The Elevator isn't Working".

Finalists:
1st. Cynthia Pardo Iglesias, for her terrifying "RIP".
2nd. Violeta Barriga Cava for her intriguing story "The Pond".

Honorary MentionCarmen Portilla, for her "No Ordinary Mist".






Congratulations to our winners, finalists, and honorary mentions! Your creativity and dedication brought the Halloween spirit to life. Thank you to everyone who participated, and we look forward to more incredible stories next year!
