Final sessions
In our project-based approach to teaching and learning, our students are usually presented with real issues and problems and learn content as they develop solutions: PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS. These “authentic tasks” help our students see the relevance of the content and the skills they are learning through obvious connections to needs and work done in and for the world beyond the classroom. That is the main reason why we decided to embark the group in "Leadership for Change" in our co-teaching lessons.
In these pictures, our students are working on essential 21st century communication skills. In addition, the complex problems (problem-solving) our students address and engage with in this "Leadership for Change" Project, require them to practice creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration skills in order to find effective solutions.
