Literacy Skills in History: Definitions #co-teaching

Now, let's imagine we need to define ENLIGHTMENT. We will do it by answering the questions stated in the infographic:

WHAT? and/or WHO? It is an intellectual movement 

WHERE? which originated in France 

WHEN? during the 18th century. 

WHY? and/or HOW? It focused on two important goals: criticising the Old Regime as an unfair system and proposing how to change it through the theories of Montesquieu, Voltaire, and Rousseau. ENLIGHTMENT encouraged the Revolutions from the end of the 18th century.
