What does it mean to be a a refugee? Process

 A Journey to Safety

Today, more than 40 million people around the world are refugees or asylum seekers. While our students explore the topic of migration with their History teacher, they are also examining the idea of refuge alongside the Language Adviser.

Through these activities, our students are learning to identify key information and organise it meaningfully. The tasks serve as a warm-up and a foundation, building essential background knowledge for this term’s larger social science project: Refugees: Behind the Profile. A Story Untold and a Future They Can’t See Yet.
