Working as geographers in ESO3: GEOGRAPHERS IN ACTION!

Geographers in action

After a month dealing with the topic, 3C students took an exam on Population Movements and Population Structure. It was a challenging one, since it involved dealing with graphs and chartsthey had to analyze data to draw conclusions in order to identify demographic problems and suggest a particular demographic policy. Other tasks involved interpreting, comparing and describing different charts and graphs like population pyramids or the demographic transition model. They put into practice not only their knowledge on the matter and the vocabulary of demography, but the writing skills that they have been practising cross-curricularly in Literacy, Geography or Biology when dealing with charts.

Most students passed the exam, and some displayed an outstanding command of English, too, as the samples below show.
