Collaboration agreement between UK and Spain
The UK and Spanish Ministries of Education have signed an agreement to allow all students with A-Levels to be able to access Spanish Universities without having to do the “prueba general” of the EBAU. Students with Spanish Bachillerato can also continue to apply to UK universities directly, so there is no need for extra exams or recognition papers.
The agreement is published here.

Can I study a British degree in Spain?
The pandemic has opened our minds to different ways of learning and universities across the world are using their creativity (not exempt from quality controls!) to provide different means of offering their programmes, including joint, double and franchised qualifications. How to find these is not easy as there is not a centralised register for foreign qualifications held by either the Spanish or British Ministries of Education.
However, if you are interested in studying a degree with a British university and cannot afford to pay their international fees plus accommodation, do some research. There are a good number of local institutions with agreements with UK universities which offer students opportunites to take their qualifications in Spain.
