In this hands on activity the goal was to find and identify the natural resources of Cáceres that made it possible for human beings to settle down here since Prehistoric times. Then, the students had to find out about the use made by the Arabs of these resources with the cistern, and finally, to identify and recognise the medieval heritage in the streets of our town: the names of the battle that marks the decline of Arab domination: the battle of Las Navas de Tolosa; and the names of the streets that are actually guilds, such as Calle Caleros.
