This is an award-winning novel, with great messages about kindness, friendship and acceptance. It is based in America so bear with us if some of the terminology seems a little unusual. This book has been made into a film but please just enjoy the book to start with and, fingers crossed, we can all watch the film together in the Filmoteca Pública de Extremadura.
