World Creativity and Innovation Day: Japanese poetry forms in the literacy lesson (ESO3) HAIKU

We celebrate WORLD CREATIVITY DAY today. In 2017, the 21st of April was officially recognised by the UN as being the World Creativity and Innovation Day.

Writing a haiku poem might seem simple but this ancient art form, is far from simple. According to CREATIVE WRITING NOW, a Haiku is a Japanese poetry form. A haiku uses just a few words to capture a moment and create a picture in the reader's mind. It is like a tiny window into a scene much larger than itself.

Our students have been working on their creative writing skills with our Teacher Raquel Pacheco. Here is the output!
