Agenda 2030 Global Goals
Agenda 2030 is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity. It also seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom. We recognise that eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest global challenge and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development. All countries and all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan. We are resolved to free the human race from the tyranny of poverty and want and to heal and secure our planet. We are determined to take the bold and transformative steps which are urgently needed to shift the world onto a sustainable and resilient path. As we embark on this collective journey, we pledge that no one will be left behind. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets which we are announcing today demonstrate the scale and ambition of this new universal Agenda. They seek to build on the Millennium Development Goals and complete what these did not achieve. They seek to realise the human rights of all and to achieve gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls. They are integrated and indivisible and balance the three dimensions of sustainable development: the economic, social and environmental. |

I have felt a lot of pity for the world because the human are distroying it and if we follow this rhythm , the world is going to be devastated. Thanks to people like Malala or Greta Thunberg, the society is realizing of the problems there are out of their countries and, also they are helping so that it doesn't happen again.
ReplyDeleteI felt a little bit surprised because I knew that we were doing things bad, but watching this video I have truly realised that things are worst than I thought and also that humans don't care at all about the environment and all the consequeces that it can have or what affects other people like forced marriages.
ReplyDeleteAfter watching the video, I'm very worry because of all the problems that are mostly caused by human, and the worst of all, is that we aren't aware of this problems and we need to act now to solve them.

DeleteAfter watching the video, I believe that humanity is extinguishing everything it catches in its path. From fauna and flora, forests and glaciers, to ourselves, with wars and blurring the atmosphere. If something is not done now, the change will be irreversible.
ReplyDeleteI'm still thinking about all the things mentioned in the video. There is so much that needs to be changed and we need to start right now, because we have to admit that the way we've been moving leads nowhere. The human being has the ability to create, but also to destroy anything he wants to; and that's what we're doing, polluting the atmosphere, causing animal and plant species to extinguish and even badly treating our equals, the rest of humans, as poverty and inequality are man-made. What worries me the most is the fact that we're always saying that a change is needed, but then, some people never take action, and so, the consequences will be terrible. Nevertheless, there are some other people who are truly interested in making a difference, for the world to become a better place to live in, such as Malala Yousafzai, who fought for the girls' right to go to school.
ReplyDeleteAfter watching the video, I have thought about it and I have come to the conclusion that there are still many things that has need to change in this world. We are going through a health crisis right now, but there are still a lot of things wrong on Earth that we should pay attention to, for example climate change. Besides that, there are a lot of problems that are affecting society at this time, and we must be aware of them.

ReplyDeleteI feel amazed, with the bad meaning of the word, of how many bad things are now in our society and our world. Also I think all the solutions that they want to achieve to make our world better are things that everyone knows they need help but no one does nothing. In some way this goals are not that difficult to get, if we all share some of our dedication, in my opinion, everything is posible.
ReplyDeleteWhat are we doing to The Earth and to our society? I can't believe what is happenning to our ONLY world where we can live. This contamination, deforestation, poverty... is going too far. We have to find a way in order to stop it or at least to avoid the increase of all of this, including the social discrimmination.
ReplyDeleteWell, in my opinion, in the world there are too many things that still need to be changed or improved. But it is difficult because it is not capable of doing or changing because it takes a lot of people and a lot of money to be able to achieve it..
ReplyDeleteI felt very sad after watching the video. It's incredible the way we are destroying our environment, but not only the environment. There are lots of people living in poverty that should be helped and anyone help them. Besides there are people being discriminated in developed countries and that's something that we cannot allow. I think this planet is very unfair and all of us should give our sand grain for making it better.

ReplyDeleteAfter watching the video I felt a bit uncomfortable and sad because I did not know the things that people are going through,, many people believe that because we do not see something it does not exist and it is something that I find quite selfish, because of the people who are all the day complaining about what happens to them without valuing everything they have, people are destroying society and many people dont realize it
This video is a representation of how we can improve our future if we apply some changes in the present. If we dont improve our world, it will beca,me a dangerous and uncomfortable place to live. If all of us contribute, we will be rewared in the future.
