Katie was babysitting her brother and talking with a friend by phone , her little brother frightened Katie , she called her parents for them to know and they told the little brother to go to sleep. Afterwards , Katie was seeing a film , but suddenly, the lights turned off and as Kaite has real panic of the darkness , she calls to her parents again for them to tell her where the light box is. The light box was downstairs, her father told her that there were only 10 stairs but when Katie was on the 10th stair , she was still counting stairs until the 42nd stair , and when she arrived at the 42nd the connection stopped.
The ten steps has left me very intrigued, but I liked it, although I was a bit scared.

A family has recently moved into a house in which the daughter had a panic attack when she was going to the cellar.

1. He was taking some stuff out of a box (newspapers, books...). It looks like he had just moved into that house, because of the lack of furniture and all the boxes.

3. He seems curious, because when he looks at the exact same spot which he took the photo of, there is nothing strange.
4. I think he is very brave, because I would have gotten out of that house ASAP, but he probably thought he had no chance but to investigate.
5. I think the "monster" takes the man with him to a different world or place, or maybe they have both just disappeared and are nowhere. I have no idea of what that shadow could be, but definitely not anything good or friendly.
6. Yes, although I would've been terrified if that had happened to me.
THE TEN STEPS
1. The lights went off and Katie called her parents to ask them how to turn them on again. Her father gives her directions and tells her to go downstairs. But something goes wrong and the girl goes down too many steps.
2. I don't know, but either her father has made a mistake counting or Katie is not even in her house anymore, which is probably what has happened.
3. Katie was talking to her friend on the phone while taking care of her little brother (they were home alone). The boy was not behaving properly, so she called her mom and he went to bed. When the girl was finally in peace, enjoying some time by herself and watching a film on TV, the lights suddenly went off. She didn't know what to do, so she called her parents again, who were on a formal dinner with her father's boss, talking about some business problems.
Her father helped her and told her to go to the basement and fix the light box. At first, the girl was afraid of that idea, but she finally did it, while she was counting the steps she went down, one by one, with his father on the phone to feel less scared. They were supposed to be ten, but she continued going down, and it sounded like she was stepping on bones.

I think that he is brave because he keeps taking photos and goes to the place where the monster is supposed to be.

At the end the monster appears behind the man and makes him disappear. I think that the man is just a normal person that is looking to old things that he has kept in boxes. And I think that the monster was inside the camera and it got free when the man started to take photos.

Yes, I liked it because at the beginning it makes you feel curiosity to know what is going to happen and then I didn’t expect that the man was going to disappear.

Katie was taking care of his little brother when the house power went off. She was very scared because she had to go to the basement, so she called her father and he told her to count the 10 steps while she was going down. She didn’t stop on the tenth step and she kept counting and there is where the monster had taken her body.
