"With great power, comes great responsibility" - but what happens when powerful people make mistakes? And what moral standards should world leaders be held to? In this co-taught lesson by Marina Hurtado and Mr. Justo Javier Pérez, we discussed how politicians have behaved recently and what consequences they should face.
In addition, the Topical Talk lesson was also devoted to discuss what moral standards world leaders should be held to and to decide on appropriate consequences. The students could think and reflect apart from also:
- Comparing the actions of different politicians
- Making connections between events in the news
- Considering the qualities that world leaders should display and why they are important.
