We are enjoying reading The Hate U Give. No question about that. In order to help you understand and practice how to write a biography text and how to mention the sources you used in your research, you are going to write a short info-biography about her and I guess, you'll reach a better understanding of the book. Consider the main points about the author, her life and strengths, anecdotes, quotes, etc. We will be working on this in class. Once we have finished, a former student from the BEP will be coming to our class in order to give us an overview of what a biography should be like, providing us with a model text and a thorough oral presentation of the date she has gathered.
