I FEEL THANKFUL TO MY TEACHERS...

Our students nominated the teachers they feel thankful to for whatever reason.

MARÍA GRANADO, ESO1

LUCAS, ESO1

I am very thankful to my Philosophy teacher and I will explain why in the podcast.
IRENE BORREGO, ESO 1

AITANA, ESO1

I´m Aitana, I'm 12 years old and I'm a student of ESO1 at IES Al-Qázeres. I chose to nominate my Spanish language teacher, María José Calero because she explains the subject very, very well. If I don´t understand something, I raise my hand and she explains to me just what I need. When she needs to ask us the verbs she does it in a good way like a game to play. I love her classes!.

CLARA, ESO1

I am thankful to María José Calero.

MIGUEL ÁNGEL, ESO1

I have chosen to say thank you to Juan Antonio my teacher of religion because I like him very much, he helps  me when I have a problem with my classmates, he takes us out to the playground to teach the class and I like a lot. When we finish the class, if we have time left  he lets us play soccer. This teacher makes us laugh and that's why I like his classes. He is a  good teacher.

JULIA, ESO1

I am very thankful to Marina and Raquel.

Carla Salomé Borrella, ESO1

Thanks to Marina the Literacy subject is easier to understand and very interesting. You could never get bored at her classes! I remember the day we did the AlqaCouncil Shop. I learned a lot of new vocabulary and I had a lot of fun. There were shopkeepers, changing rooms, clothes, accessories… In my opinion, that’s the most useful way to teach. I love learning English with Marina.

PAOLA, ESO1

I have chosen to be grateful to Victoria Merino Puerto since I quite like her way of being and explaining, she takes information from the book but at the same time makes us understand it, she tries to make her classes entertaining, interesting and gives us some points that are included in the exam she is a person who tries to make us participate, makes us present laboratory activities, helps us in the exams and makes us trust the teachers more, if she assigns homework, she tries to keep it to a minimum, she is a fun and empathetic person, she makes us laugh, and I love that he is one of our many teachers because for me his classes are more enjoyable and seem shorter. She makes me feel good at school and with myself I love his subject and I love his way of being. Thank you Victoria for making us smile.

LEIRE GARCÍA, ESO2

Hello, I am Leire García García and I study at I.E.S Al-Qázeres in Cáceres. My primary school was called Alba Plata also located in Cáceres. There, I met different teachers but there was one for me that he wasn’t an ordinary teacher. He was called Javier. He always did the most fun and dynamic classes, he made me want to go to school also when I was sick.
Leaving aside the professional, I am very grateful to him because he was for me a second father, my support, my help, my friend, the person who always made me laugh and many different emotions.
Since I left school and I went to high school, I haven't seen him, and I still remember the thousands of happy moments I shared with him for many years.

JORGE CUÑO, ESO2

I´m so grateful to Susana (my geography and history teacher) because I have learnt so much with her and she makes me enjoy history.

GONZALO, ESO2
I nominate Mara Testón in the category of fantastic pastoral care because I think she is the most peaceful, full of solidarity and open-minded teacher.

JORGE NISO, ESO2
Hi, I'm Jorge and I'm going to talk about one of my favorite teachers. One of my favorite teachers is Susana González, she is a very good teacher, she teaches history in high school I.E.S AL-Qazeres. She seems to me to be a very good teacher because she explains the topics very well and she does it with great enthusiasm. I am learning a lot of history with her and it makes me more interested, I remember a phrase that she said: a people that does not know its history is condemned to repeat it.

DARÍO CURIEL, ESO2
I nominate Javier because he was my tutor and teacher from 3rd of primary up to the end of the primary school.

With him I made a lot of things. I learnt a lot of new things, techniques and also a lot of experiences that changed me in a lot of ways.
Also, I learned about a lot of different topics, I learnt learning new words, new forms of communication and new ways to learn by projects.
In the learning by projects we learnt about travelling around the world, about how to prepare a  rip, how different cultures are and we even created our own continent!.

In conclusion Javier was the best teacher I ever had and I am always going to remember him.

CARLOS VÁZQUEZ, ESO2
I want to nominate Susana González Prado due to her effort for preparing us for the real world. She always tells us tips to study, but not only about our course, she also teaches us how to prepare, how to study, and how to organize ourselves for higher courses. Susana encourages us, but also opens our eyes to reality, telling us that to pass higher courses, it is necessary to fall before, and learn what failure is, in order to get up later.

ELENA MARTÍN CAVA, ESO 2
I want to thank my old primary teacher, Javier. He has been next to me for more than 3 years, supporting me, teaching me and helping me. Thank you for giving me the necessary strength to move on. I will never forget you and you will always be an example to follow. Thank you for everything.

Nieves, ESO3

IRENE CAMPOS, ESO3

Teacher's name: Angel
School name: C.E.I.P. Alba Plata
Country: Spain
When I was at school, my teacher was on leave for a few months and a teacher came to replace her. In those months I learned a lot with him and I loved how he explained things, never before had anyone explained something to me so well that I could understand it at first. I took a lot of affection for him and I was very sorry when he left.

AGUSTÍN, ESO3

My nominate is Ernesto Roman because i like his way of teaching because he asses a lot our effort and it does not matter if they do not do it very well if we work he is going to take it into account.

VÍCTOR POLO, ESO3

My teacher Teresa, for me is a very good teacher. She always tries that we understand all the things and she loves us.

ALEX OLIVENZA, ESO3

Jalen, our Auxiliar de Conversación.

GLORIA GONZÁLEZ SKENDER ESO3

I am very thankful to my English teacher María José Díaz Vidarte. I will explain why in the podcast.

F. Darío Caballero Román ESO4

In all my years I have spent learning, I have been taught by many excellent teachers, but I would like to nominate Toña, my last course Spanish Language and Literature teacher. I think she was one of the most dedicated teachers I've had, as she made her explanations clear and easy to comprehend and designed several activities that made even the most difficult topics easier to follow. She had tons of patience with everyone; she repeated every explanation until we all had understood the concepts also, she was always open to other points of view and willing to leave room for discussion. Lastly, she had a good relationship with all her students and introduced bits of pop culture into her lessons, which made them much more entertaining.

DIANA GARCIA FIDALGO ESO4

ROBERTO GONZÁLEZ ALÉS. ESO4

My nominated teacher: Juan Antonio Durán Siles. from C.E.I.P. Alba Plata.

I nominate this extraordinary teacher as he introduced myself in the extraordinary world of maths. Without the knowledge he gave me in primary school, I wouldn't be the same person.THANK YOU, teacher.
