Pride and Prejudice FIRST TASKS: A Marriage Advertisement by Mrs. Bennet
Our 4th year students are reading Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen) this academic year, and among the activities they have to do we have asked them to write an imaginary marriage advertisement created by Mrs Bennet.
What would she say she is looking for in a husband for her children? What skills and attributes would she suggest her daughters have?
